Lanché van Tonder

Lanché van Tonder serves as the Head: Residence Management and Student Life at the University of Pretoria, since 2015. His main responsibilities include the day-to-day management 10 000 students in 39 residences, as well as the planning, management and execution of the student life activities and programmes at the university.
Prior to this appointment, his work in student housing started during his leadership in university residences. Together with serving on several leadership structures and student societies, he obtained his LLB (Law) degree from the University of Pretoria in 2011
As an outgoing and motivating individual, he enjoys socializing with people with different points of view and enjoys a challenging debate on current matters.
